During a trip to Toronto this weekend for a family wedding I spontaneously decided to make a film geek pilgrimage to Markham to snap this picture of The Cathedral of the Transfiguration – an abandoned byzantine cathedral and notable landmark if you are heading north out of Toronto on the 404. If you are a fan of Horror Movies and John Carpenter specifically you may remember it as the Black Church from In the Mouth of Madness - one of the more memorable locations in the film. Thankfully the weather cooperated and provided an appropriately ominous sky.
